Speaker Abbas Denies Rift With Kaduna Governor Uba Sani
Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas has denied rumours of a rift with Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, saying their relationship remains cordial.
Abbas spoke during the distribution of 60,000 bags of fertiliser to farmers under the Renewed Hope Fertiliser Distribution 2026 programme in Zaria.
He urged APC members in Kaduna to stay united and warned against gossip, rumour-mongering and actions that could divide the party ahead of 2027.
Both Vanguard and Daily Trust reported that speculation about a disagreement between Abbas and Sani had stirred exchanges among APC supporters in Zaria, the Speaker’s political base.
Abbas said political differences should not override the party’s collective interest or the development of Kaduna State. Daily Trust reported him as saying the executive and National Assembly members from Kaduna currently enjoy strong cooperation.
The Speaker said party members should focus on discipline and shared development goals rather than internal suspicion.
