Former APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje has denied claims that he defected to the Nigeria Democratic Congress, saying posters suggesting the move were fake.

In a statement issued by his former Commissioner for Information and Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, Ganduje described the posters as false and politically motivated.

Daily Post and Punch reported that Ganduje said he had not considered leaving the APC, the party he once led as national chairman.

The statement said the posters were meant to mislead the public, create confusion among APC supporters and drive needless political speculation.

Ganduje’s camp also framed the rumour as illogical, arguing that he remained tied to the ruling party’s national structure and the Tinubu administration’s agenda.

Ganduje also said those behind the posters had been identified and warned that legal action would follow if the materials were not withdrawn and the claims stopped.
