Police Arrest Suspected Bandits Drug Supplier In Katsina
Police in Katsina State have arrested a man accused of supplying illicit drugs to suspected bandits in Funtua and nearby communities.
Daily Trust and Vanguard identified the suspect as Sunday Eze, also known as Dunbuje. Police said he was arrested by operatives attached to the Central Police Station in Funtua after intelligence-led operations.
The Katsina police spokesperson, DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, said officers recovered substances believed to be illicit drugs and that preliminary findings linked the suspect to supplies meant for criminal groups in the area.
The allegation is still under investigation. Police said the suspect would be charged after the investigation is completed.
