PDP Chieftain Dan Orbih Dies
Chief Daniel Osi Orbih, a senior Peoples Democratic Party figure in Edo State, has died.
His family announced that he died on Monday, August 31, 2026. The statement described him as a husband, father, brother and uncle, and said burial arrangements would be announced later.
Orbih was a former Edo State PDP chairman and a political ally of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. His death drew condolence messages from political figures in and outside the state.
Former Edo State governor Godwin Obaseki described Orbih as a prominent Edo son who spent many years in public affairs and party politics.
