Officials commissioning a rehabilitated road project in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu has directed the expansion of road infrastructure to more communities in the Federal Capital Territory, as the rehabilitated Old Keffi Road was commissioned in Abuja.

The project covers the Kado Fish Market to Dei-Dei Junction corridor through Life Camp. Vanguard described it as a 16-kilometre road, while Daily Post reported it as over 16 kilometres.

Tinubu, represented at the event by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, also approved the construction of the Kaba-Kagini-Zaudna Road after residents displayed banners about the condition of access roads in their communities.

The President said the administration would continue to extend development beyond the city centre to underserved districts and area councils. FCT Minister Nyesom Wike said the work formed part of the administration’s road delivery programme in Abuja.

The story is separate from earlier FCT road projects already covered by NaijaTrend, including the Gaduwa and Mabushi road inaugurations.
