Oyo APC Presents INEC Form To Sharafadeen Alli, Names Running Mate

The All Progressives Congress has presented the Independent National Electoral Commission nomination form to Senator Sharafadeen Alli as its Oyo State governorship candidate for the 2027 election.
At the event on Thursday, the party also unveiled Adesoji Adedeji as Alli’s running mate.
Daily Post reported the running mate’s name as Michael Adedeji, while Punch identified him as Adesoji Adedeji. Punch added that Adedeji is 46, an Economics graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and from Iwo-Ate in Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area.
The development moves the Oyo APC’s governorship preparation from internal selection to formal nomination paperwork ahead of the next election cycle.
Alli currently represents Oyo South in the Senate and has been positioned by the party as its candidate for the state’s top office.
