NNPP Completes Presidential Candidate Upload To INEC Portal
The New Nigeria People’s Party says it has completed the upload of its presidential candidate’s details on the Independent National Electoral Commission portal for the 2027 election cycle.
The party said it had also begun work on governorship and state assembly candidate details, with the process expected to continue until August 8.
NNPP national chairman Agbo Major told journalists in Abuja that the party had secured the restoration of its original logo on the INEC portal after a legal dispute over the party’s identity.
Vanguard and Punch reported the party’s briefing on Tuesday, including its claim that the presidential entry had been uploaded as part of the electoral timetable.
The development keeps the NNPP in the early race for 2027 candidate documentation as parties begin lining up names for INEC’s portal deadlines.
