Kano police recover 12 stolen vehicles, arrest 10 suspects
Police in Kano State have arrested 10 suspects in connection with alleged interstate vehicle theft and recovered 12 vehicles.
Daily Trust and Daily Post both reported the arrests from a police briefing in Kano. The reports said the recovered vehicles included stolen and unregistered vehicles traced during the operation.
Police said the suspects were linked to a car-theft network operating across state lines. Investigators are expected to trace the owners of the recovered vehicles and determine how the vehicles were moved.
The command said the case remains under investigation and that the suspects would be charged after detectives complete their work.
