APC Announces Fresh Primaries For 10 Constituencies Across Five States

The All Progressives Congress has released a timetable for fresh primary elections covering 10 constituencies across five states.
The exercise covers primaries for the 2026 legislative bye-elections and for State House of Assembly constituencies restored by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Delta and Kogi states.
According to Daily Post and Vanguard, APC National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu signed the notice to the party’s state chapters.
The restored constituencies are Abraka, Isoko North II and Ughelli South II in Delta State, and Yagba West II in Kogi State.
The party also listed Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe State, Disina and Sakwa State Constituencies in Bauchi State, Udu State Constituency in Delta State, and Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State for bye-election primaries.
The APC asked its chapters and aspirants in the affected areas to prepare for the exercises and follow the timetable for candidate selection.
