Kwankwasiyya Movement Demands Answers From FG Over PFIPC Scandal

The Kwankwasiyya Movement has asked the Federal Government to give a full public explanation on the controversy surrounding the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.

The statement is a fresh reaction to the PFIPC row, which NaijaTrend has followed in earlier reports, including the latest accountability call here.

Daily Post reported that the movement said the matter had gone beyond the actions of one individual and had become a test of public accountability.

Vanguard reported that the statement was signed by the movement’s spokesperson, Dr Habibu Sale Mohammed, who said the controversy raised questions about transparency, credibility and governance.

The group said the Presidency’s position that the council never existed should be reconciled with reports of more than N1 billion allocated to an entity bearing the same or a similar name in the 2026 Appropriation Act.

It asked who proposed and approved the allocation, whether public money was released or committed, and how any allegedly forged documents could have been used without earlier detection.
