Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist Informants, Suppliers In Borno
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested suspected terrorist informants and logistics suppliers during separate operations in Borno State.
The operations also included the surrender of a suspected ISWAP member and the destruction of an improvised explosive device, according to reports on the security activity.
Daily Post reported that troops of 195 Battalion, working with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force, arrested a suspected ISWAP/JAS informant in Dusuman Ward, Mafa Local Government Area. The report said preliminary checks linked the suspect to information sharing with terrorists.
Vanguard also reported the arrests and said the operations targeted informants and logistics suppliers in the state. The reports said troops continued related security actions across parts of Borno.
The arrests add to ongoing military operations against insurgent networks, including people accused of helping fighters with supplies, intelligence or movement.
