Tinubu Swears In RMAFC, NPC Commissioners Before FEC Meeting
President Bola Tinubu has sworn in new federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission and the National Population Commission.
Daily Post reported that the ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday.
According to the report, those sworn in for the RMAFC were Amina Gamawa from Bauchi State and Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed from Kaduna State, the former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
Punch also reported the swearing-in, saying it was the first FEC meeting in over two months.
Daily Post reported that new commissioners inaugurated for the National Population Commission include Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi from Ekiti State, Nasiru Mu’azu from Zamfara State, and Isaka Alada Yahaya from Kwara State.
Others include Professor Sadiq Isah Radda from Katsina State, Suleiman Umar from Jigawa State and Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo from Sokoto State.
Punch reported that Vice President Kashim Shettima, cabinet ministers and other senior government officials attended the meeting.
