Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle put the squad through their penultimate training session in London on Friday ahead of Saturday’s Unity Cup final against Jamaica, with mixed performances from the attacking players catching attention.

Owen Oseni, the Plymouth Argyle striker whose inclusion in the squad sparked debate, struggled to keep pace throughout the session. The young forward was off the pace for the entire duration, failing to justify the faith shown in him by the technical crew.

OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi was the standout attacker. He was the best among the forwards during training, showing sharp movement and clinical finishing that have been his trademark since the first day of camp.

Alhassan Yusuf continued his impressive form from the Zimbabwe match, breaking up play and setting up attacks in midfield. He appears to have struck a near-perfect partnership with Samson Tijjani and Tochukwu Nnadi in the middle of the park.

The Super Eagles beat Zimbabwe 2-0 in their opening Unity Cup fixture but Chelle has demanded improvement ahead of the final. Training was focused on strategy and set-piece refinement.
