JAMB Extends Deadline For Old Admission Offers To September 30
JAMB has extended the deadline for candidates with old admission offers to accept or reject them, giving affected candidates until September 30, 2026.
The extension covers admission offers made from 2021 to 2026. The earlier deadline was August 31, but the board said the new date is the final window for candidates who still have pending offers.
JAMB said the affected offers include regular admissions and Centralised University International Admission offers. Candidates who fail to act before the new deadline may have their admission status affected.
The board’s public communication adviser, Fabian Benjamin, said the extension was meant to give candidates one more chance to clear outstanding offers and help JAMB clean up its admission records.
JAMB also advised candidates not to wait until the last day before accepting or rejecting their offers. It said any admission offer that remains unattended after September 30 could be treated as no longer valid.
