ICPC Launches Manhunt for Ex-Minister Uche Nnaji Over Forged Credentials
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has launched a manhunt for former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, over allegations tied to forged credentials.
Premium Times reported that the anti-graft agency has repeatedly invited Nnaji for interrogation over the controversy surrounding his university degree and National Youth Service Corps certificate. The report says the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, confirmed that it did not issue the degree in question, while the NYSC also disowned the certificate.
The new development is the latest turn in a long-running certificate-forgery saga that has already drawn public attention and legal scrutiny. It could deepen the political fallout around the former minister as the matter remains under active investigation.
