Enugu Approves New Roads, Housing And Tourism Projects
The Enugu State Government has approved a fresh set of road, housing and tourism projects, including a 10.5km road project and new housing schemes tied to the Enugu Smart City plan.
The approvals include 1,000 housing units at Enugu Smart City and 18,000 mass housing units at Gateway Estate. The government also listed Ovu Lake Golf Resort among the tourism projects covered by the decision.
Vanguard reported the project approvals after the state executive council meeting. Premium Times also carried the Enugu government announcement on the infrastructure and tourism plans.
The state says the projects are part of its wider effort to expand housing, open new development corridors and draw more visitors to tourism sites. The next test will be procurement, funding and delivery timelines.
