Dangote Refinery Restores Naira Petrol Loading at ₦1,215 Per Litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has resumed naira-denominated petrol loading for marketers after a week-long suspension, setting a new ex-depot price of ₦1,215 per litre.
Vanguard reported that the revised price is ₦140 higher than the previous ₦1,075 per litre rate. The refinery had temporarily moved to dollar-denominated sales after citing difficulty securing crude under the Federal Government’s naira-for-crude arrangement.
The report said the return to naira loading could ease supply disruptions that pushed independent marketers toward private depots. It also comes as depot and retail prices rose in several locations.
Vanguard linked the higher ex-depot price to rising global crude prices and reported that some Lagos filling stations had adjusted pump prices to between ₦1,300 and ₦1,400 per litre.
