Dangote Refinery Raises Petrol Gantry Price To N1,200 Per Litre
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has raised its gantry price for Premium Motor Spirit from N1,185 to N1,200 per litre, with the new price taking effect on August 26, 2026.
The change was announced in a communication to customers from the refinery’s Group Commercial Operations. The notice also raised the coastal price from N1,562,265 per metric tonne to N1,582,380.
Customers were told to return existing Authorisation to Collect documents for repricing before loading resumes under new volume contracts.
The N15-per-litre increase comes only days after the refinery moved the gantry price from N1,165 to N1,185 per litre. Marketers are expected to reflect the change in pump prices after adding transport and other downstream costs.
The increase came even as international crude prices fell on Tuesday. West Texas Intermediate was reported at $82.13 per barrel, Brent crude at $88.37 and Murban crude at $92.71.
The Dangote Group had not responded to the report before publication.
