Adeyemi Fails To Appear In Court For PFIPC Arraignment

Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the man billed for arraignment over the alleged fake Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council case, failed to appear before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday.

Adeyemi was expected to take his plea before Justice Mohammed Umar on an eight-count charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025. The charge covers alleged forgery, fraud and impersonation.

The case was listed as No. 12 on the court’s cause list, but Adeyemi was not present when it came up. Prosecutors may seek a bench warrant if the matter cannot go forward because of his absence.

The witness list includes Femi Gbajabiamila, Paul Emmanuel, Jeremiah Imoukhede and Ituah Sylvester.

The charge was filed by a police prosecutor, Wisdom Madaki, on November 27, 2025. Adeyemi and two other defendants are accused in connection with documents and claims tied to the disputed council.
