Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma says the five South-East governors have resolved to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Uzodimma, who chairs the South-East Governors’ Forum, said the governors reached the position after reviewing what he described as Tinubu’s work on infrastructure and economic projects in the region.

Vanguard reported that Uzodimma made the statement in Owerri during a meeting with traditional rulers and members of the Imo State Elders Council.

Channels TV reported that he linked the decision to the administration’s projects in the South-East, including road and economic initiatives he said were tied to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
