Court Orders Arrest Of Adeniyi Adeyemi In PFIPC Case

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the arrest of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi after he again failed to appear in the PFIPC case.

Justice Mohammed Umar issued a bench warrant on Tuesday following an oral application by police prosecutor Wisdom Madaki. Adeyemi was expected to take his plea on an eight-count charge linked to alleged forgery, fraud and impersonation.

Vanguard, Daily Post, Premium Times and Channels TV all reported that the arrest order followed his absence from court. The case is tied to claims around the alleged non-existent Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council.

The charge is marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025. Prosecutors had listed Femi Gbajabiamila, Paul Emmanuel, Jeremiah Imoukhede and Ituah Sylvester among expected witnesses in the case.

The bench warrant moves the matter beyond a missed court appearance. It gives law-enforcement authorities a court order to produce Adeyemi before the judge so the case can proceed.
