Nigeria Has Gotten Worse Under Tinubu, Says Former CAN President Oritsejafor
Former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has said Nigeria has gotten worse under President Bola Tinubu than it was under Muhammadu Buhari.
Premium Times reported that Oritsejafor, founder of Word of Life Bible Church, spoke on Channels TV’s Politics Today programme on Monday night.
Oritsejafor said he had tried to warn the country about the direction it was heading, adding that things have since gotten worse.
He described Buhari, who handed over power on May 29, 2023, as a jihadist and criticised the role of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo during the Buhari administration.
Oritsejafor is a known supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan. His comments add to the growing list of religious leaders who have publicly criticised the Tinubu administration’s handling of security and the economy.
