United States immigration authorities have added 10 Nigerians to a fresh deportation register linked to people arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Reports said the names appeared on the Department of Homeland Security register known as “Worst of the Worst”, with alleged offences listed as fraud, identity theft, drug offences, child-related crimes, larceny, aggravated assault and weapons possession.

The listed Nigerians include Temitope Bashua, Ojehoro Lewis, Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe, Daniel Oworen, Raymond H. Ekevwo, Franklin Dikeocha, Johnson Ogunlana, Chukwuemeka Okorocha, Tunde Korede and Chukwuemeka Chinye.

Daily Post reported that the offences attached to the names ranged from wire fraud and identity theft to cruelty toward a child, drug offences, weapons possession and larceny from a banking-type institution. Daily Trust said the latest publication came about seven weeks after US authorities released a larger list involving Nigerians.

The list does not by itself provide new details on the immigration proceedings for each person. It identifies the listed people as criminal immigrants arrested by ICE under the current US enforcement campaign.
