UK Opens 2026 Chevening Scholarship Applications For Nigerians

Applications for the 2026 Chevening Scholarship open on August 4, giving Nigerians and other eligible candidates another chance to apply for fully funded master’s study in the United Kingdom.
The application window closes on October 6, 2026, at 11:00 UTC. Chevening’s official timeline confirms both dates, while the programme says the scholarship covers tuition, living costs and travel support for selected candidates.
The award is funded by the UK Government through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations. It targets applicants with leadership potential who want to complete a one-year master’s degree in the UK.
Applicants are expected to meet Chevening’s eligibility rules, choose suitable courses and submit their forms through the online application system before the deadline.
