Police in Osun State have opened an investigation after a man identified as Adejuwon Adekunle, also known as Asa, was shot dead near a recreation centre in the Dele Yes Sir area of Osogbo.
The attack happened in the early hours of Tuesday. Reports said the victim was shot by unidentified assailants between about 1:30am and 2am and later died after being taken to hospital.
