JAMB opens controlled SIM and email update for candidates
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has opened a controlled process for candidates who have lost access to the phone numbers or email addresses linked to their profiles.
The new service began on September 21, 2026, and is available only at designated JAMB Computer-Based Test centres, including state offices where applicable.
JAMB said candidates must pass strict identity and biometric checks before their records can be changed. The board said the service can be used only once by each candidate.
Daily Post reported that candidates seeking the update must provide a new phone number or email address and a court affidavit ready for upload. The board warned candidates to avoid unauthorised people or channels when trying to update their details.
