EFCC Arrests Edo Spiritualist Over Alleged $1,100 Sextortion
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested an Edo State-based man, Odigie Moses, over an alleged $1,100 sextortion case involving an Indian woman.
The anti-graft agency said Moses was arrested in Ekpoma after he allegedly presented himself as a spiritual healer and convinced the woman to take part in a naked spiritual bath.
Investigators alleged that he recorded the session without her consent and later threatened to publish the video unless she paid him.
Both reports named Moses as the suspect and tied the arrest to the same alleged nude-video blackmail case. The allegations have not yet been tested in court.
