ECOWAS Opens Applications For 2027 One-Year Immersion Programme
ECOWAS has opened applications for its 2027 one-year professional immersion programme, offering young graduates from member states a fully paid opportunity to gain work experience inside the regional institution.
The programme is open to applicants aged 32 or younger who hold a relevant degree from a recognised institution. ECOWAS said participants will contribute to regional integration work while developing professional skills alongside experienced officials and experts.
Applications opened on July 31 and will close on August 31, 2026. Interested candidates are expected to apply through the dedicated portal at youngprofessional.ecowas.int.
The opportunity is relevant to Nigerian graduates because Nigeria is an ECOWAS member state and the organisation is headquartered in Abuja. Applicants should check the official portal for the complete eligibility requirements and submission instructions before applying.
