Dangote Petroleum Refinery has raised its petrol gantry price to N1,350 per litre, with the new rate taking effect on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The latest adjustment moves the price up from N1,265 per litre, an increase of N85. It is the refinery’s fourth upward review since August 21, after earlier changes from N1,165 to N1,185, then N1,200 and N1,265.

Punch reported that the increases have lifted the refinery’s petrol price by N185 per litre, or about 15.9 per cent, in 22 days. Vanguard also reported the new N1,350 rate and described the latest change as a 6.7 per cent adjustment.

The increase was communicated to customers in a circular from the refinery’s Group Commercial Operations. The movement is likely to feed into pump-price expectations because depot and retail operators take cues from gantry pricing.

The reports tie the latest review to wider pressure in the oil market and recent expectations that petrol prices could rise again after crude prices strengthened.
