Bandits Abduct Seven Students of Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda in Zamfara

Suspected bandits have abducted seven students of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda in Zamfara State, in the latest attack on educational institutions in northern Nigeria.
The students were kidnapped from their off-campus residence in the early hours of Wednesday. One of the students managed to escape during the attack.
According to Daily Trust, the incident left three male and three female students in captivity. The chairman of the local government area confirmed the incident to reporters.
Police have confirmed the attack and stated that rescue operations are ongoing to secure the release of the abducted students.
The abduction adds to a growing wave of attacks on students and educational institutions across northern Nigeria, with similar incidents reported in Oyo, Borno, Kaduna, and other states in recent weeks.
The Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, located in Zamfara State, has been a frequent target of bandit attacks due to its proximity to areas where armed groups operate.
