APGA Sweeps Anambra LG Polls, Wins 21 Chairmanship Seats
The All Progressives Grand Alliance has won all 21 chairmanship seats in Anambra State’s local government election.
The result gives APGA control of every council in the state after the poll conducted by the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission.
The result confirms the final chairmanship outcome across the state’s 21 local government areas after earlier attention on candidate lists and opposition complaints before and during the poll.
Reports also said APGA won councillorship seats across the wards, deepening the party’s hold on local government politics under Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
