Air Peace Launches Lagos–Douala, Bamako, Conakry, Libreville Routes Across West Africa

Air Peace, West Africa’s leading airline, has launched scheduled flight services connecting Lagos with Douala (Cameroon), Libreville (Gabon), Bamako (Mali), and Conakry (Guinea), expanding its regional network across the continent.

The airline said the new routes would operate four times weekly on the Lagos–Douala–Libreville–Douala–Lagos service every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The Lagos–Bamako–Conakry–Bamako–Lagos route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Flights will depart Lagos at 7:00 am, arrive in Bamako at 8:30 am, before continuing onward.

Through its Lagos hub, passengers travelling from Douala, Libreville, Bamako, and Conakry will enjoy seamless onward connections to numerous destinations across Nigeria and the rest of the airline’s network.

The new services will also provide convenient access to Air Peace’s expanding international network, including London Gatwick in the United Kingdom, as well as Caribbean destinations.

Air Peace Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Allen Onyema said the expansion was part of the airline’s vision to make Lagos the aviation hub of West Africa and provide affordable connectivity across the region.

The airline said the new routes would support trade, tourism, and diaspora traffic between Nigeria and the Francophone and Anglophone countries of West and Central Africa.

Air Peace, founded in 2013, has grown to become Nigeria’s largest carrier by domestic passenger volume and one of the largest operators in West Africa, with a fleet of Boeing 737s and Embraer regional jets.
