JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results For Underage Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the 2026 UTME results of candidates who were below the prescribed admission age, but said the release is for viewing only.
JAMB said the candidates and their parents or guardians can now see their examination performance. It warned that the result release does not by itself make every underage candidate eligible for admission.
The board defined an underage candidate for the 2026 admission exercise as any applicant who will still be below 16 years old by September 30, 2026.
In a statement attributed to Fabian Benjamin, JAMB said only candidates who meet its requirements for exceptional consideration can be considered for admission. Others can use the results only to know how they performed.
Premium Times reported that candidates can check the results by sending RESULT to 55019 or 66019 with the telephone number used for UTME registration.
