LASTMA opens physical complaint centre at Oshodi headquarters
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has opened a physical complaint centre at its Oshodi headquarters for residents who want to report traffic problems, make enquiries or complain about the conduct of officers in person.
The centre adds a face-to-face option to LASTMA’s existing digital channels and its 3367 toll-free call centre. The agency said the move is part of wider changes aimed at making complaints easier to file and track.
Punch reported that the 3367 line recorded 2,843 public engagements between June 28 and July 29, 2026. The calls included 1,047 enquiries, 709 commendations, 400 reports of accidents and vehicle breakdowns, 163 formal complaints and 11 information requests. LASTMA said 468 cases were resolved, while 45 calls failed because of abandoned calls, network interruptions and other technical problems.
LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki said the physical centre would help members of the public who prefer direct contact with the agency. He said it would allow residents to report traffic-related concerns, seek clarification and lodge complaints about service delivery.
Vanguard also reported the opening of the centre and said the agency had received 2,843 calls in 30 days through the toll-free line.
