Uba Sani Picks Jerry Adams As 2027 Running Mate

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has named Jerry Adams, the executive chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election.
Channels Television first reported the announcement from the governor’s X handle on Tuesday. Punch also reported the nomination, saying Sani described the choice as part of his commitment to inclusion, equity and good governance.
Channels reported that Adams holds professional accounting and management credentials and leads KADIRS. The outlet also said the nomination marks the first time in seven years that the ruling APC in Kaduna has fielded a Christian from Southern Kaduna as running mate.
Punch reported the same announcement on Tuesday. No official opposition response was reported in the two accounts.
