Police Arrest Two Togolese Suspects Over Alleged Kidnap Plot In Kwara
Police in Kwara State have arrested two Togolese nationals over an alleged plan to kidnap a resident and demand money from the victim’s family.
The suspects were arrested after security operatives received information about the alleged plot. Police said the case involved attempted kidnapping and extortion, and that investigators were still working to establish the full chain of involvement.
Daily Trust reported the suspects as two Togolese nationals arrested in Kwara. Premium Times reported the same incident as a foiled kidnap plot involving two foreign suspects.
The police said the suspects would face further investigation and possible prosecution. The command also urged residents to report suspicious movement early, saying timely information helped stop the alleged crime before it was carried out.
