Police To Arraign Adeniyi Adeyemi Tuesday Over PFIPC Case
Police are set to arraign Adeniyi Adeyemi at the Federal High Court on Tuesday over the PFIPC case.
Adeyemi, described in the reports as director-general of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, is charged with two others in a case marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025.
The charges listed in the reports include forgery and impersonation. The case had earlier been adjourned after Adeyemi was said to be indisposed when the defendants were expected to take their plea on June 16.
Police documents cited in the reports list expected evidence including an investigation report, a petition dated October 17, 2025, and an alleged presidential appointment letter dated March 8, 2024.
The reports also say investigators listed people allegedly posted to work with Adeyemi at the disputed agency as witnesses. The allegations have not yet been tested in court.
