Police Rescue Woman And Toddler From Kwara Forest Hideout

Police in Kwara State have rescued an abducted woman and her two-year-old child from a forest hideout after suspected kidnappers fled during a security operation.

Daily Post and Vanguard reported that the victims were found in a forest area after police moved in on the suspected kidnappers’ hideout. The suspects reportedly escaped before the woman and child were recovered.

The rescue adds to continuing security concerns around forest routes and rural communities, where kidnapping gangs have used difficult terrain to evade security teams.
