Tinubu’s Eid-el-Kabir Message: “Dark Days Over, Light Is Here”
President Bola Tinubu, in his Eid-el-Kabir message, has declared that Nigeria’s “dark days are over and light is here,” assuring citizens of improved security and economic conditions as the country celebrates the festival.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the president urged Nigerians to embrace unity and sacrifice as the country works to overcome its current challenges.
The Eid message comes as millions of Muslims across Nigeria mark the Sallah celebration with prayers, family gatherings, and traditional festivities.
Assurance of Better Days
Tinubu said his administration remains committed to implementing reforms that will deliver tangible improvements to the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
“We have endured difficult times, but the sacrifices we have made are beginning to yield results. The light of prosperity is dawning on our nation,” the president said.
Security agencies have deployed thousands of personnel nationwide to ensure peaceful celebrations during the Eid period.
