Rema, LISA, and Anitta Drop “Goals”

Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema has linked up with Thai rapper LISA and Brazilian singer Anitta on “Goals,” the latest single from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. The track landed Thursday on all major streaming platforms and comes with an official music video.

Produced by Grammy winner Cirkut, the song pulls Afrobeats, K-pop, and Latin pop into one track. FIFA called it “a high-energy celebration” that captures the tournament’s global reach.

The three artists will perform “Goals” live for the first time at the World Cup opening ceremony at Los Angeles Stadium on June 12, just before the United States kicks off the tournament.

“A Big Moment for Music”

Rema, born Divine Ikubor in Benin City, called it a landmark. “Three continents, one track. Bringing all our sounds together like this is a big moment for music on the world stage,” he said.

LISA, the BLACKPINK star, said being part of the official World Cup album had been “so exciting” and that music “always unites people across the world.” Anitta, whose Brazil eats and breathes football, said her connection to the tournament is “deeply emotional” and the collaboration was “incredibly special.”

“Goals” is the fifth single off the official album, following earlier releases including “Lighter,” “Por Ella,” and “Illuminate.”

Nigeria’s Sound on Football’s Biggest Stage

For Rema, this is another global milestone. He broke through internationally with “Calm Down,” the Selena Gomez remix that peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated the U.S. Afrobeats chart for a record 58 weeks.

The Super Eagles didn’t qualify for 2026. But Rema is making sure Nigeria’s sound is heard at the World Cup anyway.
