# Air Peace files weekly Lagos–São Paulo schedule starting December 15

Air Peace has filed a weekly Lagos–São Paulo schedule in Brazil’s civil aviation system, with the first flight out of Lagos set for Tuesday, December 15, under the airline’s first listing of the route in the regulator’s public portal.

The schedule was identified by Brazilian outlet Melhores Destinos in the public system of Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). It shows flight 7630 leaving Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 19:45 on Tuesdays and arriving at São Paulo Guarulhos at 03:55 the following morning, with the return departing São Paulo later that day and reaching Lagos in the evening. The filing currently lists weekly departures through March 23, 2027.

The filing assigns a Boeing 777-200ER with 274 seats to the route. Air Peace has two 777-200ERs in service, including 5N-BVE, and also operates a larger 777-300ER, so the aircraft that ultimately flies the route could change.

Tickets are not yet on sale, and the airline has not announced the route on its own channels. Melhores Destinos said it contacted Air Peace for confirmation and was awaiting a response, so the dates remain a regulatory filing rather than a confirmed commercial launch.

The listing follows a string of postponements since Nigeria and Brazil signed an air services agreement in August 2025. Air Peace obtained slots at Guarulhos for March 2026 and again for the season that ran from May 30 to October 24, 2026, without operating the route, and withdrew a one-off Lagos–São Paulo flight it had filed for October 1. ANAC’s authorisation for scheduled passenger, cargo and mail services was published in June.

If it operates as filed, the service would be the first scheduled connection between Nigeria and Brazil since Varig flew Rio de Janeiro–Lagos in the 1980s, re-establishing a direct air link between Africa’s most populous country and South America’s largest economy.
