Enugu Air Schedules Direct Enugu–Douala Flights From September 23

Enugu Air has scheduled its first direct service from Enugu to Douala, Cameroon, for September 23, opening a new regional route from southeast Nigeria.

The airline announced twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Wednesdays between Akanu Ibiam International Airport and Douala International Airport. Its published timetable has flights leaving Enugu at 12:45 p.m. and arriving in Douala at 1:45 p.m.; the return is scheduled to depart at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Enugu at 3:30 p.m.

Enugu Air chief operating officer Ugonna Agubuokwu said travellers from Lagos and Abuja would be able to connect through Enugu. The airline presented the route as a way to improve travel for families and businesses between Nigeria and Cameroon.

The planned service gives passengers in southeastern Nigeria a direct option to Douala rather than requiring a journey through another hub. The announcement does not by itself confirm that the inaugural flight has operated; travellers should check the airline’s current schedule and booking availability before making plans.

Air Peace already serves the Nigeria–Cameroon market, but its Douala service originates from Lagos. The Enugu route is a separate service by a different airline.
