Kemi Adeosun’s Husband, Anthony, Dies At 62
Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, husband of former finance minister Kemi Adeosun, has died at the age of 62.
The Adeosun family announced that he died in Lagos on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The announcement was issued by Rev. C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family.
The family described Adeosun as a businessman and a Christian, and said funeral and burial arrangements would be announced later.
He is survived by his wife, Kemi, his children and siblings. The family statement also named Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital, among his siblings.
Kemi Adeosun served as Nigeria’s Minister of Finance under the late President Muhammadu Buhari from 2015 to 2018.
