Asake Announces Fourth Studio Album “M$NEY” for May 1 Release

Asake has announced his fourth studio album, titled “M$NEY,” for release on May 1, 2026 — his sixth project in five years and one of the most prolific runs in modern Afrobeats.

The 13-track album includes three pre-release singles: “Why Love,” “Badman Gangster” featuring French star Tiakola, and “Worship” featuring DJ Snake.

Global ambitions

The features signal Asake’s push beyond the Nigerian market. Tiakola and DJ Snake are household names in European pop and dance music, suggesting the album will lean into a wider sonic palette alongside his signature street-pop energy.

Previous albums “Mr. Money with the Vibe,” “Work of Art,” and “Lungu Boy” — which featured Wizkid, Travis Scott, Central Cee, and Stormzy — established Asake as one of the most commercially successful artists in African music. He is currently the most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify Nigeria.

Building momentum

2026 has already been busy for Asake, who released a joint EP with Wizkid titled “REAL Vol 1” earlier this year. The project’s lead single “Jogodo” reached number one on the TurnTable Top 100. “M$NEY” now looks to extend that streak.
